PA에서 운전면허 획득

준비물

1. A letter from the office of International Programs saying that the student is enrolled in classes at Penn State

2. Passport, visa, and I-94

3. The student's I-20 for those in F status
The student's DS-2019 for those in J Status

4. Two documents showing where you live.
아파트나 기숙사 lease 계약서, 저당증서(?), 유틸리티 사용명세서, 세금 용지 등. 그러나 이런 것이 없는 학생들의 경우, 즉 기숙사에 거주하는 학생들의 경우, University Housing Office에서 Driver's License Office로 편지로 대체.

5. Social Security Card
만약에 없다면, Social Security Office에 가서 왜 SSN을 부여받지 못한 것에대한 일종의 사유서(?) 혹은 허가서(?)를 받아오면 I-94 번호로 대체해 준다고 합니다.

기타 tip들

1. 차량 구입은 언제나 가능.
2. 보험은 국제면허로는 안되는 경우가 많다 함. 그리고, 국제면허로 가능한 보험은 비싼 경우 많음
3. 필기 시험 합격후 learner's permit을 받으면 보험 가입 가능
4. 면허 시험시 차량이 필요함.
