1. Pass a graduate breadth course from at least three of the nine subject areas.

= Operating Systems
= CSE 511
= Programming Languages
= CSE 520
= Security
= CSE 543

2. Only one of these courses can overlap with the area of the candidacy exam subject areas.

3./4. At least one of the two subject areas listed below must be covered either by passing the candidacy examination in that area or by completing the graduate breadth course specified
(Data Structures and Algorithm, Programming Languages) / ( Operating System, Computer Architecture)


결론은 위 9가지 분류의 12강좌중 3개를 들어야 하고, 500 level 강의 들은 것중 하나만 candidacy exam을 봐야하고, algorithm, PL 중 하나 혹은 OS, CA 중 하나는 꼭 하라는 거네요.
저는 CSE 565를 들었으니 이번에 그걸 시험봐서 만약 붙는다면 네트웍, 아키텍쳐를 본다고 가정하면 514나 530은 2번 조항에 걸리는 것 같습니다..PL은 저번에 붙었으니 520은 못듣는거겠구요.
